I met Chloé and Maxime for the first time during our engagement session in Alsace, which had a Colorado-like feel, almost reminiscent of Colorado. We immediately connected and spent a wonderful afternoon together. The photos from this engagement session are truly exceptional.
Their wedding took place at Château Ernest, near Nancy. It was a beautiful day under a bright blue sky, in this enchanting château. It was the first time I had created a wedding photo and video reportage at this venue, and I must say I can’t wait to experience it again.
Now, I’ll let you read Chloé and Maxime’s testimonial, as they will tell you far better than I could about their beautiful wedding day.
We first met during our optics studies in Nancy in 2013. This meeting happened at a memorable student party, where we immediately felt a special connection. The passionate conversations and shared laughter encouraged us to deepen our relationship. We began spending more and more time together, exploring the city and sharing our dreams and aspirations.
Maxime, with his charming smile, then surprised me by inviting me to dinner for Valentine’s Day. This moment marked a turning point in our story, officially making our relationship romantic. That evening was the beginning of an adventure that continued to grow over the years.
The marriage proposal took place at the wedding of a couple of friends. After keeping the ring on him for more than a month, unable to find the right moment, he finally got down on one knee by a pond while we were alone together. A perfect, timeless moment. It was magical!
The preparations for our wedding at Château Ernest went perfectly. The owner of the château was very kind and helpful. He played an active role in the organization by answering all our questions and helping us choose vendors, especially a high-quality caterer. He also kindly offered to help us tidy up on the Sunday after the wedding, which was a great help. His kindness and involvement truly contributed to making our wedding at Château Ernest unforgettable.
Our day was simply wonderful. The outdoor ceremony in the gardens was an exceptional moment that we will never forget. Choosing a symbolic ceremony rather than a religious one turned out to be a fantastic decision. It gave us beautiful emotional moments and heartfelt expressions of love from all our loved ones.
The ceremony truly reflected who we are as a couple and created a warm, inclusive atmosphere where everyone felt involved and connected. The emotions shared that day will remain forever in our hearts, and we are grateful to have experienced such a special moment.
The most memorable moment of our day was without a doubt the symbolic ceremony. It was a truly magical experience.
For Maxime, the most emotional moment was seeing me walk down the aisle and hearing the warm applause from all our loved ones. It was a moment filled with love and excitement.
For me, what touched me the most was seeing all our loved ones gathered in the beautiful gardens of the château. It was an incredibly beautiful scene, and knowing that our friends and family were there to share this unique moment made the day unforgettable.
Our advice for couples considering getting married at Château Ernest in Tantonville is to place their trust in the owner of the château, who knows his venue perfectly and is always enthusiastic about supporting you in organizing your wedding. Treat yourselves and create the wedding of your dreams—one that truly reflects who you are—rather than following someone else’s expectations or wishes. Your special day should reflect your uniqueness as a couple, and the owner can help bring that vision to life with his expertise and dedication.
Also, pay close attention to your choice of DJ. Ours almost ruined the evening!
