Today, we’re going to talk about couple photoshoots, and more specifically engagement sessions. If you’re not sure what an engagement session is, I invite you to discover it on this page and then come back to read this article 😉
My goal is not to create stiff, posed photos during an engagement session. I want to capture your relationship in an authentic way. I want the result to feel natural, and for the time spent together to become a precious memory—one worthy of being displayed in your living room. This is the moment that should be enhanced, through your presence, your personality, and your love. That’s what will make your session beautiful. Come as you are, with your pets, your favorite accessories, your sense of humor, and your love.

You’ll notice that when you focus on yourselves and on your shared moment, the camera almost disappears. This gives you the opportunity to show me who you truly are, and that’s where my art fully comes to life. Highlighting your relationship and freezing, even for a brief moment, that shared connection—that’s all I wish to offer you.

It’s funny, but about 90% of people tell me they don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera. Yet most of them are natural and very “photogenic” (even though I don’t really like that term). In reality, everyone is photogenic—you just need someone who knows how to photograph you from the right angle. We’re all different, and we can’t all be beautiful in the same way. That’s where my work comes in: translating your charisma through my images.

Before your wedding day, an engagement couple photoshoot allows you to get comfortable with the idea of being photographed together. It’s the perfect opportunity to get used to the camera, the atmosphere of a photoshoot, and to work in harmony with us, the photographer and videographer. It also gives you the chance to capture your connection and your love in images that will be precious to you—not only as a couple, but also as future newlyweds. If the photos are taken early enough, they can even be used for your wedding invitations.

In addition to photos, video is an excellent complement during a couple photoshoot. It captures intimate moments, shared glances, and spontaneous interactions in a different way than photography, while adding a deeper dimension to your story. Videos created during a pre-wedding couple session can be integrated into your wedding film, highlighting your journey as a couple and creating an even more powerful narrative. They allow you to relive these precious moments with special intensity, adding emotional depth and total immersion into your unique story.
